FAQ: Access Problems

What does it mean if I get a message saying I have been banned from accessing the site?

It means that you, or someone using the same IP address, have been up to no good, and I've disabled access from your location. More information is available here.

If I have been banned, how to I prevent e-mails from being sent out?

You know, I really hadn't considered that. Shoot me an e-mail (if you have an account, you should have my e-mail address on your "welcome" message for emergency use) and I will try to cancel them in time to prevent them being sent.

Can this system be used on a corporate intranet?

Possibly - it really has more to do with access at the user's terminal rather than the nature of their connection to other networks. If all he terminals that connect to your intranet also have access to the Internet, it'll work just fine. If, however, your network is totally enclosed, such that your users do not have Internet access at the same terminals, it won't.
